What you don’t know may hurt your bottom line. If you haven’t thoroughly researched a prospective major donor before you meet with them, you might as well leave a wad of cash on the table when you walk out the door.

Don't let what you don't know hurt your bottom line. Work smartly, understand your prospects, and increase the revenues needed to further your organization's mission.

In our half-day workshop we will present practical strategies along with free and inexpensive tools to help you better understand your prospects and their giving capacity using focused research.

Marge is an expert researcher; she began using subscription-based research tools (Dialog, STN, etc.) in the early-1990s. Based on Marge’s custom researched profiles, several of her clients have reported asking for and receiving million-dollar gifts. These clients have admitted that, without Marge’s research, they would have asked for and received significantly smaller gifts.

Marge is the founder of InfoRich Group, Inc. In addition to raising tens of millions of dollars for her clients, Marge is a member of the adjunct faculty at Delaware County Community College and Eastern University where she teaches business and fundraising courses at graduate and undergraduate levels. She has served on several nonprofit boards and has written and evaluated multi-million dollar grant proposals for government agencies. Marge earned a BS from Cabrini College, a MBA from St. Joseph’s University, and a post-graduate certificate from Harvard University, Kennedy School of Government.

“I highly recommend Marge as a presenter on the topic of donor prospecting. I had the pleasure to hear her speak at a Greater Philadelphia AFP program and knew I had to have her as a presenter for the Brandywine Chapter of AFP for our Philanthropy Day in 2009. She received high evaluation comments, someone our chapter would have back at any time. Thank you Marge!”
