by the Association of Independent Information Professionals.

About Margaret King
Margaret
King is president of InfoRich Group, Inc., a management-consulting
firm, providing fundraising support in the areas of board development,
prospect research, capital campaign, and general fundraising.
She has extensive experience in the nonprofit sector and has
been part of the executive management team for two internationally
recognized nonprofit institutions. In addition to raising millions
of dollars for her clients, she has broad experience developing
and organizing nonprofit boards and advisory councils.
She also speaks and writes about contemporary fundraising
and board development issues. A member of the adjunct faculty
at Delaware County Community College and Eastern University,
she teaches nonprofit management courses at graduate and undergraduate
levels and is an instructor for the Association of Fundraising
Professionals, Greater Philadelphia Chapter. She has served
on several nonprofit boards and has evaluated grant proposals
for the National Science Foundation. Currently she is president
of the Association of Independent Information Professionals
(AIIP). (AIIP is the premier industry association for the Independent
Information Professional.membership consists of more than 500
business owners from more than 20 countries around the world.
AIIP member firms provide research and consulting services
across a wide variety of industries, including fundraising
and prospect research.) She earned a BS from Cabrini College,
a MBA from St. Joseph’s University and completed a post-graduate
program at Harvard University. She is a member of numerous
organizations including Association of Fundraising Professionals,
Association of Independent Information Professionals, and the
Non-Profit Marketing Council.
Our strategic team members have more than 40 years’ combined
experience in executive nonprofit management, nonprofit marketing,
fundraising, database design and analysis, and literature research.
